Multi-Use Neutral Weatherability Silicone Sealant
Introduction
FIRM BOND Neutral Weatherability SILICONE SEALANT is one-part room temperature neutral silicone sealant. It has excellent weatherability, waterproof and good adhesion to most construction materials.
Application
- For assembling of doors and windows indoor and outdoor;
- For filling and sealing of glass, glass fiber, aluminum alloy, rubber, wood, ceramics, metal, plastic, marble, mirror, fiber and other greaseless base materials.
- Indoor decoration as filling and sealing;
- Crafts bonding, filling and sealing;
- Other general usages as filling, waterproof sealing, etc.
Characteristics
1. One-component, neutral cured;
2. Easy to use, cured quickly, good adhesion to many building materials;
3.No corrosion to most building materials;
4. Good aging-resistant ability, high flexible, good weatherability;
5. Available Colors: Transparent, White, Grey and Black, or as per customers' requirements.
Using Method
1. Get rid of the rust, oil, or any dirty on the operation surfaces, to make sure it completely clean and dry;
2. Cut nozzle to desired size and smoothly extrudes sealant to joint areas;
3. If further sealing needed, should finish operation within 5 minutes. Wipe off the surplus sealant with dry tissue.
4. After completely solidify, amend by knife.
NOTICES
1. Unsuitable for curtain wall structural adhesive;
2.Unsuitable for the surfaces if with grease, plasticizer or other organic solvents;
3. Unsuitable for the airproof location, because it is required to absorb moisture in air to cure for the sealant;
4. Unsuitable for the frosty or moist surface,
5. Can't be used for the continually soggy place;
6. Can't be used if the temperature is below 5ºC or above 40ºC on the surface of the material.
Storage & Shelf life
- The product is nonflammable. Keep dry and shade, air tight during storage.
- The shelf life is 12 months from date of production stored at 5-27ºC,relative humidity below 50%.
