Description:
A one-component, RTV neutral cure silicone sealant formulated to give superior adhesive and durability in a wide range of glazing, caulking and sealing application. It is suitable for construction engineering because of proper modulus and low shrink. It has good adhesive to use on most common building materials like coated aluminum and concrete, etc.
Application:
It is used in caulking and sealing for all kind of ACPs, metal structural engineering, windows and doors. It is suitable for non-structural sealing for glass curtain wall, and other caulking purpose and waterproof caulking.
Direction:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dirt, grease oil and water. Surfaces should be cleaned with alcohol, acetone or other suitable solvent. Soap or detergent and water treatments are not recommended. For a neat finish, apply masking tape and remove it before sealant has skinned over. Cut nozzle at 45ºC angle to desire bead-width and apply to substrate with caulking gun. Tooling time is 10 minutes, tack-free time is 20 minutes. Uncured sealant can be cleaned up with mineral spirits. Use approved backing material for joint over 10mm deep.
Limitation:
It cannot be used as structural sealant. It cannot be used on the substrate surface with oil, grease and other solvents. It cannot be used on the frosty and wet surface. It cannot be used in the long tine soaking place. It cannot be applied on the substrate when the surface temperature is bellow 6ºC or above 40ºC.
Safety and aid directions:
This product emits Methyl Ethyl Ketoxime whilst curing, which is hazardous. Avoid to contact with eyes, skin and mouth. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water immediately for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek for medical attention. Keep out of reach of children. Use in well ventilated areas.
Store in a dry and cool place in temperature below 27ºC. Better use within 10 months from date of production.
